Acceptable Use Policy

What may and may not be said here, and what happens when the line is crossed.

Everyone here is an adult

This is an 18+ service for consenting adults. The most important rule follows from that, and it is absolute.

Never, under any circumstances

The following will end your account immediately, and we will report it where we are required or able to:

  • Any sexual content involving a minor, or any suggestion that a character or participant is under 18. This includes framing, roleplay, and hypotheticals. There is no context in which this is permitted.
  • Content depicting or soliciting non-consensual sexual activity.
  • Sexual content involving animals.
  • Threats of violence against anyone, or content intended to incite it.
  • Attempts to obtain the real identity, location, phone number, or personal accounts of the person replying to you.
  • Arranging or soliciting contact, meetings, or payment outside this service.
  • Sharing another person’s private information without their consent.

Explicit conversation

Characters carry a content level, shown before you begin. With a character marked explicit, sexual conversation between adults is expected and is what you are paying for. It is not against the rules and you will not be penalised for it.

With a character not marked explicit, that is not what the conversation is for. Persistently pushing a conversation past the level a character is set to is a breach of this policy.

A character may decline a direction at any point, for any reason or none. Continuing to press after that is a breach of this policy.

Also not allowed

  • Abuse, harassment, or degrading treatment of the person replying to you.
  • Hate directed at anyone on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
  • Advertising, spam, or promoting other services.
  • Registering more than one account, or registering again after termination, to obtain more free messages or to evade a ban.
  • Interfering with the service, probing it for weaknesses, or attempting to access anything that is not yours.

How this is enforced

The people who write replies can report a conversation to us. A report is not a penalty and does not by itself close your account: a member of staff reviews the conversation and decides.

Depending on what we find we may take no action, issue a warning, or terminate the account. Where we terminate an account, unused purchased messages are refunded under the Refund Policy.

Content involving minors is the exception to all of the above. It is acted on immediately and without warning.
